Hansika will not do a full length role but just an item song. Mehar Ramesh is said to have convinced Hansika to do the item song. Rebel star Krishnam Raju is playing a prominent role in Billa.

Telugu Billa is a remake of Tamil Billa which in turn was a remake of 70's Hindi Movie 'Don'. Ajith, Nayanatara and Namitha played the lead roles in tamil Billa which was a blockbuster hit in Tamilnadu.
